SDBP’s third Café International event in 2010 took place on 31st of March 2010 at 18.00 in Kavarna “KavaČaj” Slamič, Kersnikova 1, Ljubljana. In the open debate entitled »ALL IT TAKES IS COURAGE. How I successfully published my first book« we hosted Mr. Klaus Schuster, the author of the book “11 Manager’s Sins which should be avoided”. Mr. Schuster shared the ideas on how to write a book and successfully sell it. This special debate was moderated by Mr. Jurij Giacomelli, member of the SDBP Executive Committee and president of the Board of Delo, d. d.
Mr. Klaus Schuster was the director of a big international financial institute for many years. He travelled all over the world as a trouble-shooter and was in charge of setting up a subsidiary company in Eastern Europe. In the meantime he has his own company and advises, coaches and trains top managers and junior executives from all fields and branches. He is a highly regarded author of specialist articles and columns and has just published his first book.
The first edition of his book was published in Austria in 2009 and sold out almost immediately which caused a considerable stir in the business world. Even the BILD newspaper reported on it. The book has been among 10 top-selling business books for six month already. It was also published in Slovenian language in March 2010 and it has been very popular already. He is practically the only person in Europe to convincingly put over the topic “Management Sins”. The debate took place after our 15-minutes extraordinary General Assembly.
