We wish to inform the members of SDBP about an interesting conference on Project Management in Practice. The conference, held 20th May 2010 in House Jezeršek in Sora near Medvode, will have extremely rich and high quality content.
The mission of this conference is establishing a link between: theory and practice; classical projects skills and soft skills; project and complementary associations; project managers and function managers; project management IT vendors and their users; scientific establishments and companies. One of the main goals of the conference is to present the successful real-life examples to the attendees, and to transfer the experience and knowledge which will directly benefit their everyday work.
The conference will combine: information; competency development training and workshops; the transfer of project experience and useful tips including the demonstration of the application of IT-tools for project support. All of this contributes to the more effective practical use of project management skills. Some of the organizations who will present their good project practices at the conference: Trimo d.d., Hella Saturnus Slovenia, the Energoplan group.
The introductory speaker comes from the Netherlands. Ad van der Waal will share his practical experience in a lecture titled "Balanced Scorecard and Portfolio Project Management hand in hand"
