SDBP Cafe On Art&Business
News Date: Thursday, January 19, 2012

First SDBP event in 2012 took place on January 19th at KavaČaj Slamič and was a very special wake-up to start this year. We hosted Mr. Miha Pogačnik, Cultural Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia who shared with us his famous Art&Business process. Many top multinationals around the world have been using his magic »soft« approach to achieve a historical break-through. At the same time as Mr. Pogačnik shared his experiences through music and debate, our famous artist Jože Ciuha was painting to accompany the creative process of Mr Pogačnik.

Mr Pogačnik presented also a very special project for Maribor 2012, European Capital of Culture 2012. During the last weekend of June the whole world will be invited to visit Terra Parzival in Dravinja valley, where the European youth will present several chapters of the Parzival story in his authentic environment. The participants will experience the old Knight values and the possibility to implement them in a modern life.

Mr. Ciuha paintings were auctioned at the end of the Cafe and all the gathered funds were given to the Parzival project.
