We are moving!
Dear friends, SDBP members, business people in Slovenia, business people all over the world, and our future members! Welcome to our new website, from now on the permanent home of every businessman interested in doing business from Slovenia, with Slovenia or around Slovenia!
On February 2nd we accepted the challenge of leading the Slovene International Business community into the new era. It is a time of crisis now, they told us. So we need new innovative concepts, but proven one just the same. “There is great potential within the Slovene international business community, but it is much too divided and lacking synergy. With a unified effort we could give this country the push ahead that it needs. You guys have a successful active platform with significant figures, can´t we join you?” So we took a look at our identity.

Is this not the identity the whole community would like to share? That is where “SDBP goes global” was born.
And here we are. Ten weeks later we are looking back at our first conference. And we are very satisfied. Satisfied that besides our members, more than 100 other captains of Slovene industry, international business people and diplomatic representatives of several countries have come to listen to our top speakers, to participate in the round table discussion and of course to meet other significant people in the Slovene economy. They know that SDBP, the International Business Platform of Slovenia, is the place to be when you want to network in this country. We are proud of the enthusiastic reactions of our audience.
Of course we are aware of the pressure of this success. The norm is set. We know what the potential is of the International Business community in this country. Our next activities must follow this growing path. The up-coming major business events we have planned will again address the essential current issues and will be discussed by international top speakers. And even more networking. Networking is what good business is all about in the crisis. “Only those who dare to cooperate will survive.” That is why we are meeting in the SDBP Cafe every month. Each of you can present your own business at our Speakers Corner in a few minutes. We have to stay in touch. Permanently! That is where this Website is an invaluable support
But this version of the site is only the first step. The next release, to be launched in May, will include a 24/7 interactive business community. From next month on, it will be your site to visit and meet each other to discuss opportunities and share your knowledge. Come share your wisdom, your hopes and fears with your friends. Come share your network. Your Global network! 7x24 hours!
The feed-back from the international business community of Slovenia is very clear: SDBP, the International Business Platform of Slovenia, is not going to be just a gateway for business life in Slovenia. It already is the gateway..
